Our Story: From a Catalyst to a Movement
Founded in 2023, Little Women Ballet Company began with Little Women — a timeless story of women’s inner lives, resilience, and creative awakening. While that story opened the door for us, it is not the only one we tell.
Today we are a women-run ballet company committed to expanding what ballet can hold. Grounded in classical technique and enriched by interdisciplinary design, cinematic pacing, and emotional clarity, our work reflects the diversity of women’s experiences and artistic expression. We create original ballets, immersive performances, and mentorship opportunities that resonate with performers, audiences, and the broader dance community.
Little Women Ballet Company centers women’s leadership at every level — from artistic creation to community building — and strives to broaden the landscape of ballet so that more stories, perspectives, and voices can be seen and heard.
Little Women Ballet is a proud partner with ArtistsPlus Productions Inc.
ArtistsPlus Productions, Inc. is the collective creation of three outstanding director-choreographers from Southern California. After collaborating on numerous projects, Diane De Franco Browne, Shauna Goddard-Barger and Jackie Kopcsak united their creative visions, coming together to form their own production company.
