The Cast of Little Women Ballet

  • Ross Clark

    GRANDFATHER LAURENCE

    Ross Clark started his performing career with the National Ballet in Washington DC at the age of 7 in the Nutcracker. He performed with the National Ballet when they needed a young boy until he was cast in his first Broadway show, “Take Me Along” starring Jackie Gleason two weeks before his 10th birthday. He continued to work on Broadway and in National tours of “Music Man”, “Bye Bye Birdie”, “Gypsy”, “Oliver!”, “Mame”, “Annie Get Your Gun” and “The Lion In Winter” through his teen Years. He attended Northwestern University, Purdue University and The Pasadena Playhouse College of Theatre Arts as part of the last graduating class. He continued his studies at USC as a directing major where he received his MFA in Theatre and Film.

    After graduation Ross began writing and producing shows for amusement parks all over the country as well as producing product introductions for companies such as Apple Computer, Ford Motor Company, Anheuser-Busch and Adobe Systems.

    Ross is currently the Director of the Musical Theatre/Children’s Theatre Ensemble at the Pasadena Civic Ballet and with them helped bring children’s theater back to Pasadena. Ross is a board member of the Pasadena Playhouse Alumni and Associates. Working on The Fantasticks at the Pasadena Playhouse completes the circle that began with Ross playing the piano for the 1969 student production of the show.

  • Denise Moses

    AUNT MARCH

    Denise’s extensive performing background includes New York and National Tour stage credits, as well as TV, Commercial, Voice-over, and film roles. She has received critical acclaim for her original one-woman multi-character shows (GIRLY SHOW, GROWING UP, and LIKING IT).

    The New York Post called her “… a versatile actress comparable to the most well-known character comedienne, Lily Tomlin.” Pasadena Civic Ballet appearances: THE WIZARD OF OZ (Wicked Witch); GISELLE (Giselle’s Mother Berthe); CINDERELLA (Stepmother). Most recently, she was a guest artist in Hollywood Ballet’s production of NUTCRACKER as Grandmother. She is thrilled to be reprising the role of Aunt March in LITTLE WOMEN BALLET. Denise dedicates her performance to the memory of her late husband, Craig Williams.

  • Artur Aleksanyan

    FRIEDRICH BHAER

    Artur Aleksanyan began his professional career at age 15 when he landed a touring contract dancing with a nationally renowned Ballet Company. He began working with companies in the States and internationally, where he could find work as a guest artist. Artur began his acting career at 23, when he sustained a knee injury that took acting and music disciplines and art forms. His most recent prominent roles were played in "Nutcracker", "Coppelia", "Snow White", "Aladdin", "Sleepy Hollow"& "Oklahoma!" to name a few.

    For over a decade, his travels afforded him the opportunity to learn, study, and teach movement from various disciplines around the world.

    With his acquired experience and knowledge of the entertainment industry, Artur paired with his trusted friend and mentor to create a touring company of dancers from all technical backgrounds. After 5 years of touring and a global pandemic, he co-founded TransClassics Productions, allocating his knowledge, contacts, and resources to collaboratively create performance opportunities for artists all across the spectrum.

  • Jacob Robleto

    FREDRICH BHAER

    Jacob is a Los Angeles native. He studied under Glen Edgerton at Colburn Dance Institute while attending Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Furthering his education, Jacob studied Choreography at the Laban Conservatoire in London. Since dancing with various companies between London and Los Angeles, Jacob now focuses on helping the dance community expand and find talented artist to provide assistance in performance growth. He is one of four co-founders of ChoCoLA. Welcome Jacob!

  • Sophia Moritz

    JOSEPHINE MARCH (JO)

    Sophia Moritz is a passionate LA-based dancer with training in various styles including ballet, contemporary, modern, and Bollywood. Her love for dance started at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years. She received her Bachelor's degree from Skidmore College where she double majored in Neuroscience and Dance; Sophia also recently completed her Master’s in Psychology from Pepperdine University. She has performed works by Martha Graham, Ohad Naharin, Pascal Rioult, and many others. Sophia is passionate about blending the arts and sciences and discovering how these two realms intersect and complement one another. She is so excited to be part of the Little Women Ballet! 

  • Hanna Peddicord

    JOSEPHINE MARCH (JO)

    Born in Baltimore, MD, Hanna Peddicord is now a Los Angeles-based freelance dance artist and performer. Throughout her youth, she trained in a variety of styles, but she is most influenced by contemporary and ballet technique. In 2021, she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from Florida State University under the direction of Ilana Goldman, Anjali Austin, Gwen Welliver and Jawole Willow Jo Zollar. Hanna had the pleasure of joining Royal Flux as a company member in 2022, but has also worked with Will Johnston, Haley Kostas, Dasha Terotova, Geometry Dance Company, and Soulescape the Company. Most recently, she performed a collaborative evening length work at Stomping Ground LA titled “here, there.” Outside of performing she is a certified fitness guide with KINRGY, where she continues to indulge in movement as a form of exploration of the self and the world. Hanna is honored to join the Little Women Ballet family and is eager to play as an artist through this immersive experience!

  • Anna Lee Rohovec

    JOSEPHINE MARCH (JO)

    From New Mexico, Anna Lee Rohovec graduated from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Ballet and a Spanish minor. Anna Lee danced the role of Giselle in UC’s mainstage production of “Giselle” alongside Cincinnati Ballet’s company member Jace Pauly as Albrecht. At UC, Rohovec also performed soloist roles in Les Sylphides staged by Deirdre Carberry and En Tournee choreographed by Qi Jaing. She worked with several guest artists including Amy Seiwert and Jennie Creer-King and choreographed for the Student

    Choreographer’s Showcases. After graduating from UC in 2022, Rohovec spent the 2022-2023 season as a trainee with State Street Ballet. As of June 2023, Rohovec has been dancing as a company member with Brockus Red Dance Company in Los Angeles. She is thrilled to be Jo March in Little Women Ballet!

  • Kate Seales

    JOSEPHINE MARCH (JO) | ELIZABETH MARCH (BETH) | SALLIE GARDINER

    From La Crescenta, CA, Kate began ballet at the age of 3 and is thrilled to be able to continue it now, 15 years later! Her most recent highlight is playing the role of Princess Rose in Pasadena Civic Ballet's production of "The 12 Dancing Princesses." This Summer, Kate is looking forward to attending Boston Ballet's Summer Dance Program for the second year before starting at Cal State Fullerton in the Fall. In the future, she hopes to graduate with a degree in Dance and join a professional ballet company. In her free time, Kate loves to cook and explore the farmer's market. After previously portraying Hannah, Beth, and Sallie, she is thrilled to add Jo to her repertoire and continue to be a part of Little Women Ballet for the second year!

  • Jenna Fleming

    MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    Jenna Fleming, a native of Southern California, is a graduate from University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance. She began her dance training at the young age of four and has been dancing for over twenty years. She started her training at Corona Dance Academy and later was accepted and began dancing at the Orange County School of the Arts in their Classical and Contemporary Dance Conservatory under the direction of Steven Hyde. In her years of dancing, she has attended summer programs at San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theater, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. While at UC Irvine, she studied with acclaimed instructors such as Lar Lubovich, Tong Wang, Diane Diefenderfer, and Molly Lynch. Additionally, she was a recipient of the William J. Gillespie Ballet Merit Scholarship and was fortunate to dance internationally in both Panama and Shanghai, China as a part of dance and culture exchanges. Jenna continues to foster her love for classical and contemporary dance by participating in different projects and is excited to join the Little Women family!

  • Rebekah Tkach

    MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    Rebekah Tkach is a Southern California native and alumna of Pasadena Civic Ballet where she trained and performed for over 10 years. She has training in various styles including classical ballet, contemporary, character, and modern dance. During the summers of 2020, 2021, and 2022 she trained and performed with Ballet Magnificat at their summer intensive. In 2023 she attended Anaheim Ballet's summer intensive and especially enjoyed performing in their summer production of Les Sylphides. Rebekah is currently studying psychology at Biola University and is excited to continue her journey with Little Women Ballet!

  • Adalynne Masoud

    MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    Adalynne (Ady) Masoud (she/her/hers) | Dancer: Adalynne is incredibly grateful to be able to perform in this Ballet production of Little Women as Meg. Adalynne started dancing at the age of 2 training in all styles at her home studio in Tampa, FL. Now, Adalynne is beyond excited to continue her dance studies, training, and jump start her career at Pace University in NYC as a part of the BFA Commercial Dance Program. Adalynne is thrilled to share her art form with you and hopes you enjoy the show! Adalynne also gives the biggest thanks to her family, especially her mom, and her boyfriend.

  • Lilia Costantino

    MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    Lilia has been training at both Pasadena Civic Ballet and California School of the Arts-SGV (Ballet & Contemporary Dance Conservatory) where she will graduate this May 2024. This past year she has also been a trainee with Hollywood Ballet and performed in Emma Andres’ “Of A Feather” for Choreographer Collection Los Angeles (Cho.Co.LA). This summer she will be training with Orlando Ballet & John Cranko Schule. Lilia has spent the year auditioning for both ballet companies & college dance programs and is excited to take her next step toward a professional dance career. She is very excited to join this season of Little Women immersives and work with Emma again.

  • Makena Rush

    MARGARET MARCH (MEG)

    Makena Rush graduated from UC Irvine as a Gillespie Scholar, with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance, a B.A. in Social Ecology, and a Minor in Global Sustainability. While at UC Irvine, she studied with renowned artists such as Lar Lubovich, Tong Wang, Diane Diefenderfer, Molly Lynch, and Vitor Luiz. Working with Emma Andres throughout UCI and SCOPIXdance has been one of Makena’s most treasured experiences in her 17-year dance career. She is so honored to be joining the Little Women family as Meg this season.

    Based in Northern California, Makena now adores her work as a dance instructor, choreographer, and guest artist, performing classical and contemporary works throughout California. She is also a Sustainability Chair, and Marine Ecological Researcher with the UCI Healthy Oceans and People Lab - pursuing her M.S. in Coastal Science and Policy at UC Santa Cruz starting this fall. As both a scientist and artist, she strives to use movement to spread compassion and healing to both humans and ecosystems interconnectedly.

  • Ellen Relac

    MARGARET MARCH (MEG) | SALLIE GARDINER

    From Weston, Connecticut, Ellen Relac is a passionate and technical dancer located in Los Angeles. She trained in classical ballet with Christina Fagundes (SFB, ABT) and Jennifer Tinsley Williams (NYCB) in Connecticut and went on to earn her BA in Creative Writing and Theater from UCLA.

    A member of the original cast of the play “Queen Bee,” Ellen will appear in its revival this year at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she produces films, works in meditation, and runs a tutoring business. She is so excited to be part of Little Women Ballet!

  • Katherine Moritz

    ELIZABETH MARCH (BETH) | SALLIE GARDINER

    Katherine Moritz is an alumnus of Pasadena Civic Ballet and danced at the studio for 15 years. Some of the memorable roles she had as a member were Tiger Lily in Peter Pan (2014) and Sea Snake in The Little Mermaid (2015). After she graduated from PCB, she attended Elon University where she got her bachelor’s degree in Art History. While a student at Elon, she was part of the executive board for a club, Dance Works, where she taught classes as well as choreographed, and curated a dance performance once a year. Katherine has always had a love for dance, and she is really excited to be working on this Little Women Project as Beth.

  • Claire Simmons

    ELIZABETH MARCH (BETH)

    Claire Simmons, Pacific Grove, California native, holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from the University of California, Irvine. She began her training with Carol Richmond at Carmel Academy of Performing Arts and spent summers with Backhausdance, American Academy of Ballet, UCLA, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Claire continued her dance journey at UC Irvine, where she worked with Lar Lubovitch, Molly Lynch, and Dr. Lisa Naugle. In college, she earned the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction and Cloud Hsueh Scholarship, co-directed the campus organization Bare Bones Dance Theater, and performed in Rome, Italy, with her fellow classmates and Italian students. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2023, she has danced with Universal Studios Hollywood (M3GAN at Halloween Horror Nights), Lume Dance Collective, SCOPIXDance Collective, and Spector Dance. She is delighted to join the Little Women Ballet family.

  • Jill Oates

    ELIZABETH MARCH (BETH)

    Jill Oates, originally from Winters California, is a graduate from UC Irvine with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and a B.S. in Biological Sciences. Growing up, her dance training was primarily focused in classical ballet but has trained in modern and jazz as well. Jill was the inaugural recipient of the ASTAIREAWARDS Excellence in Dance Scholarship at UC Irvine and had the chance to perform pieces by accomplished choreographers: Tong Wang, Molly Lynch, Diane Diefenderfer, and Dante Puleio. Jill danced as a company member with Central West Ballet Company for 5 years, ending as a soloist in 2023. Outside of dance, Jill is currently working as an Elephant Wildlife Care Specialist at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. She is very excited to be dancing and performing again in Southern California as a part of Little Women Ballet.

  • Emily Van Citters

    AMY MARCH

    Originally from Pasadena, CA, Emily Van Citters began her ballet training at Pasadena Civic Ballet at age three. During her fourteen years at PCB, she trained with Craig Williams, Valeria Gortchakova, Hasmik Amirian, Jackie Kopcsak, Melissa Barak, Yelena Zerk, and Edgar Nikolyan. In 2020, she began training under Petra Conti and Eris Nezha, and after graduating in 2022, Emily danced with Ballet Idaho as a trainee, performing in The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. In 2023, Emily joined Hollywood Ballet as a First Soloist. Since joining, she has danced in HWB’s The Nutcracker as the Dewdrop Fairy and in Hollywood Holidays dancing various solo and group pieces.

  • Catherine Faye Smith

    AMY MARCH

    Catie Faye Smith was raised in the San Francisco Bay area. She studied R.A.D., Vaganova, Graham, Horton and various neoclassical/contemporary styles, eventually graduating as valedictorian from Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. She went on to study with Gelsey Kirkland in New York and Svetlana Sidorova at Perm Ballet School in Russia. She has been a company member in City Ballet of San Diego, California Ballet, Ken Dance Company, and Los Angeles Choreographers and Dancers. She was featured as Lizette in the world premiere of the immersive theater show Crimson Cabaret. In 2017, Catie began acting in film, and her production company Stray Souls Entertainment earned recognition at the Underground Film Festival for their inaugural short film. She is also the co-founder of two artistic ensembles: Your Own Content Group, a film collaborative, and T.A.C.T. Dance Company. She currently trains at Warner Loughlin studios, and is a teaching assistant at the BGB school. Catie graduated summa cum laude from UC Berkeley in 2020.

    AMY MARCH

    From Pasadena, CA, Madison Marsh currently attends the California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley as a member of the Commercial Dance Conservatory, where she trains in ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, tap, and other dance genres. Additionally, she has been enrolled as a student with Pasadena Civic Ballet and performed as a trainee with Hollywood Ballet for their inaugural gala, “the Nutcracker”, and “Hollywood Holidays.” Madison is honored to be a new member of the Little Women Ballet cast and can’t wait to play the role of Amy!

  • Charlotte Vukojevich

    AMY MARCH

    From Pasadena, California, Charlotte Vukojevich began dancing at Pasadena Civic Ballet at the age of 6, training in many styles, but particularly focusing on ballet. Currently, she is a student at Pasadena High School where she enjoys dancing on the Orchesis Dance Team there. In 2023, Charlotte became a trainee with Petra Conti & Eris Nezha’s Hollywood Ballet Company and has performed in their inaugural gala, Nutcracker, and Hollywood Holidays productions. In addition to her Pasadena Civic Ballet year-round training, she has attended JoffreyRED and Complexions’ summer intensives. This summer, Charlotte will train at Boston Ballet School. Charlotte is so excited to join the Little Women Ballet cast and bring Amy’s character to life!

  • John Paskiewicz

    JOHN BROOKE | THEODORE LAURENCE

    John Paszkiewicz is a student at CSArts-SGV and is delighted to be a part of this wonderful ensemble. Though he is primarily a musical theater actor, he developed a love for ballet and many other forms of dance (like tap, modern, and aerial silks) through Pasadena Civic Ballet. His favorite roles include Barnaby in Babes in Toyland, Robert from The Drowsy Chaperone, and the Audrey II Puppeteer in Little Shop of Horrors. He is interested in math and science education and hopes to study environmental issues in college. Thanks to Emma Andres, the team who made Little Women Ballet possible, his many teachers over the years, and most importantly, his sometimes crazy, always-loving family.

  • Christopher Flores

    THEODORE LAURENCE (LAURIE)

    Christopher graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in Dance. He received a grant to train at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. After graduation, he danced with Nashville Ballet for two years in their second company, performing in ballets such as Swan Lake, Peter Pan, and Nashville's Nutcracker. Christopher is a company member with Anaheim Ballet. Apart from dance, he just received his Masters in Divinity from The King's University, where a portion of his studies were completed at Oxford University in England.

    JOHN BROOKE

    Alberto has been dancing and teaching for over 20 years in various studios, school programs and high schools across southern California. He has worked with competition groups and set choreography for many stage performances. Alberto has attended and performed for many college dance programs as a student and guest performer these include Orange Coast College, Cerritos College, El Camino College and Los Angeles Trade Tech. While attending college Alberto was furthering his dance education at various professional studios in the Los Angeles area that include; Edge Performing Arts Center, Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Moro Landis Dance Studio (also known as Millennium Dance Complex) and Pasadena Civic Ballet. Alberto has worked with Black Eyed Peas, Redfoo and Weezer and has performed on stage alongside The Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, National Folkloric Ballet of Spain at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and California Philharmonic just to name a few. Alberto continues to further his dance education in hopes to motivate and bring new methods of dance training to his students.

  • Evan Hernandez

    NED MOFFAT

    Evan has been dancing professionally since age 9 when he was cast for Lythgoe Family productions “A Snow White Christmas” alongside director Bonnie Lythgoe. Since then he has performed for many stage productions for choreographers like Tabitha and Napolean (NappyTabbs), Dave Scott, Marty Kudelka, Guy Amir and Phil Wright. Evan has worked in both commercial and industrial projects for companies such as Verizon, Adidas, Old Navy, Nickelodeon, and Sketchers. He is specially trained in break dance, tumbling and parkour aside from traditional dance forms. Evan continues to pursue his dance training and enjoys the challenges that come along the way.

  • Riley Jennings

    YOUNG LOUISA MAY ALCOTT

    Riley has been preforming for 12 years. She started her journey at PCB at age 5, has been there ever since. She is a part of the Senior Company, and has showcased her skill in many ballets including performing the role of a Toe Tapping Tuxedo Fish in The Little Mermaid. In addition to dance, she is heavily involved with Musical Theatre. She attends CSArt’s Musical Theatre conservatory, and has been in over 20 musicals and plays. Some including playing: Feste in Twelfth Night, Jewell Estes in Floyd Collins, Bert in Mary Poppins, and Schwartzy in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Little Women Ballet has been such a special experience, and she gives thanks to everyone who is a part of the production, especially Emma who brought this beautiful and inspiring piece to life.

  • Theo Rosenfeld

    FRED VAUGHN

    Theo Rosenfeld is a Los Angeles based actor who has a strong background in film and theater. Studying at UC Berkeley, he was in plays such as Eurydice, 70 Scenes of Halloween and Hamlet. His professional career has taken him in every direction, starring in commercials for major brands, indie films, and even a children's Youtube series. In his spare time, he focuses on spending time with friends, exploring and caring for his pet turtle!

  • Gabrielle Edinburgh

    Gabrielle Edinburgh

    HANNAH MULLET

    Gabrielle Edinburgh-Wald is a native Of Southern California, and a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre. Her most prominent roles were played in Diva Jones, The Nutcracker, Excuse Me Please, Bonjour Là Bonjour, Women Behind Bars and Cinderella. Her most recent credit was in Both: A Hard Days Silent Night at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica. She is so excited to be a part of the Little Women Ballet!

  • Nadine Booth

    KATE VAUGHN

    Nadine Booth is a Los Angeles-based actor, singer, and dancer. Originally from East Texas, she received her training in theatre and film from Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M University-Commerce. After receiving her Masters of Science in Theatre, she joined the 2022 season of the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Upon completion of the season, she moved to Los Angeles in the fall of 2022 and is currently a freelance performer. Her current tv/film credits include “Nadine” in Blinding Edge’s Caddo Lake, “Joanna” in Investigation Discovery’s Murder in The Heartland, and “Nicole” in the Bostonian Film Collective’s Take One, Leave One. The story of Little Women has meant so much to her over the years and she is beyond thrilled to have a role in this production.

    Julia is so excited to be joining the Little Women company! Originally from the east coast, Julia graduated from Boston University with a degree in Film and Television and a minor in Theatre Arts. She is a passionate performer and an avid writer, and in her free time, you’ll likely find her watching movie commentaries or drinking overpriced coffee. Julia would like to send a big thanks to her roommate Sophia (Jo!) for helping her get involved with this production!
